My Approach

I offer guidance from a holistic approach, providing mindfulness-based, body-centered counseling oriented to support the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. My approach is highly collaborative, compassionate, and, at times, punctuated by humor; laughter can be a doorway to the soul! I believe life is a sacred process through which we are meant to learn and grow. The more conscious we are during this evolutionary journey, the more we can reduce our suffering and the suffering of others.

 

My approach has a strong emphasis on somatic-centered practices that seek to incorporate the innate wisdom of the body. I view the body as the physical space through which the mind, emotions, and spirit communicate. Through a holistic approach, we will seek to understand the root cause of issues by accessing all layers of your being: your life’s story, beliefs, emotions, physical symptoms, and even unconscious material. Through a combination of various therapies tailored to meet your needs, we will co-create the path toward personal growth and healing.
