Working With Me
I view counseling as a deep unearthing of the Self. The Self is the most authentic part of you that deeply yearns to thrive and live life to its fullest potential. In this therapeutic unearthing, you will experience me as a gentle guide helping you explore your inner landscape. We will identify patterns that hold you back and explore ways to catalyze change. In our sessions, we may use directive self-inquiry, dream content, archetypal themes, and even the Tarot deck to expand insights and pathways toward change.
I may also provide reflective observations and invite you to make connections between bodily sensations and your emotions. Strengthening your mind-body connection is essential to accessing the clarity you need to create the changes you desire. At other times I may encourage you to reach into vulnerable and perhaps long-forgotten parts of yourself. Wherever the journey takes us, it is helpful to travel the path with someone with whom you feel a supportive connection.

The most important decision when looking to begin therapy is ensuring you and the therapist are a good fit. To support this decision, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. In this initial conversation, we will discuss your reasons for seeking support, what your hopes are for the process, how I may be able to support you, and whether I am the right therapist to meet your current needs. After this initial consultation, the first appointment can be scheduled.
